A Journey into the Heart of History at the Ark💫🏛️✨
Today marked the second day of our teaching practice, and it was truly unforgettable. Together with my classmates, and our practical teachers,Mohichehra Temirovna and Colton,we visited the magnificent Ark Fortress once again. Each step we took felt like walking deeper into the past. History wasn’t just told—it was felt. 🥰😍☺️✨
We were joined by our practice supervisor, Mohichehra Temirovna, and Colton, whose presence made the experience even more special. Mohichehra Temirovna shared fascinating facts with deep passion, while Colton’s curiosity and awe brought an international spark to our journey. ⭐🙂
One of the most emotional moments for me was visiting the Zindon (dungeon). Especially the “Bug Pit” left a heavy feeling in my chest. Learning that people were thrown alive into that dark pit and left forgotten was absolutely heartbreaking.😔💔
Hearing the tragic story of Conolly and Stoddart, British men who were imprisoned and eventually executed there, added a deeper layer of sorrow. Even Colton was shocked and stood silent for a moment, clearly moved. 🗞️🥺
We also learned about the 1920 bombing that damaged the Ark and surrounding historical sites. Over 45,000 rare books and manuscripts were destroyed or lost. It was a huge cultural loss. 😔📚🗞️
Another upsetting fact was that during the Soviet era and even earlier, many priceless artifacts, books, and manuscripts were taken abroad. For example, the Bukhara Qur'an is now kept in the British Museum. This made me feel both sad and proud—sad for the loss, but proud that our culture is recognized globally. 🗺️🗞️📖
But the day was not only filled with sorrow. I also felt hope and pride. After independence, restoration efforts began—the Ark was repaired, museums were opened, and traditional architectural elements were carefully brought back to life. Mohichehra Temirovna explained these efforts so clearly and with love.🏗️😍✨
I was fascinated to learn that the Ark is circular in shape, unlike many other forts. This round form symbolizes unity, protection, and eternity. 🛡️✨💫
The decorations inside, with their beautiful blue, white, and gold colors, traditional patterns, and wooden carvings, made me feel so connected to our roots. 😍🎨
Today was not just another visit—it was a conversation with our cultural soul.☺️😍🕊️🥰Walking the same ground where history unfolded, listening to Mohichehra Temirovna’s inspiring words, sharing thoughts with Colton, and feeling the silent strength of my classmates beside me—this day touched my heart deeply. 🥰❤️⭐🌟
Thank you for your attention!🥰
Well-written post✨️ Keep going my darling🤩❤️
